Ellie Goulding’s smash hit, ‘Lights’ has been remixed countless times since its release in February of last year; most notably by dubstep master, Bassnectar. But this gem by The Hood Internet is, in my opinion, the best rendition of Ms. Goulding’s original track. This remix features her original lyrics backed by the Portland Cello Project with a little Kanye thrown in for good measure. The opening bars to this track are just phenomenal to me. The horns mesh extremely well with the cello work of the PCP. Overall, this is just an awesome listen. When music hits me a certain way, i tend to break out into uncontrollable excited laughter. Let’s just say this track had me rolling…
